Seniors Helping Seniors® Chicago Metro North in-home care services assist clients with reimbursements from their Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) or Workers' Comp Insurance. We submit all the necessary claim documentation to our client’s LTCI company or Workers' Comp Insurance. We directly bill and receive reimbursements from LTCI or Workers' Comp Insurance carrier assuming the financial risk and responsibility; which is something rarely done by home care agencies—and we will work with you to get it done!
We believe it is our job to ease your mind and present solutions to your challenges—not cause you more paperwork and aggravation.
LTCI policies reimburse policyholders either a daily, weekly, or monthly maximum amount for home care to assist them with activities of daily living (ADLs). Some policies also have a benefit for home care if your loved one is diagnosed with cognitive impairment, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s. While a private duty home care company like Seniors Helping Seniors® is not eligible for reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, or general health insurance, most LTCI policies reimburse their policyholders for these private duty services.
Seniors Helping Seniors® Chicago Metro North in-home care services offers and recommends a conference call between the LTCI company and Seniors Helping Seniors® Manager to support clients in getting a full understanding of the criteria, benefits, policyholder responsibilities, and next steps for a successful and smooth experience with the claims process. We will need important information such as the policy number, the birth date of the patient, sometimes the last four of the social security, and the claim number. We will work directly with them.
Some of the insurance companies we are working with are:
